Till date, our Joint-Commission accredited hospital has won numerous awards and certifications in delivering best-in-class health care in the San Francisco Bay Area.   Marin General Hospital currently has an opportunity for a Network Engineer II   JOB SUMMARY: Systems engineer position responsible for all phases of network and systems infrastructure deployment including, requirements analysis, detailed design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, build testing, and/or modification of systems or programs based on design specification, and oversight of implementation to operations. Supports a multi-site enterprise IP network consisting of two data centers and over 10+ remote locations. Configures and maintains multi-switch/multi-site storage area network (SAN).  Provides ongoing support of the ethernetnetworkinfrastructure including: Remote sites, datacenter, IDFs, wiring, servers, networking equipment (including wireless), PCs, software, Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). Supports network monitoring using applications such as but not limited to (PTRG, MRTG, What's Up Gold, etc.). This position provides technical training and documentation to lower level engineers. EDUCATION: Associates degreerequired with network system certifications and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree (preferred) in the areas of Computer Science, Business Administration or Information Systems.  EXPERIENCE: 5+ years experience designing, implementing and operating an enterprise network.  Minimum of 3 years experience in Information Technology in a health care environment or critical high availability environment required.    LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:  Valid California Driver's License required. CCNA, CCNP desired.     RESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as liaison between clients and the Information Technology Dept. to resolve system performance and functionality issues. Assists in design, development, enforcement, and implemention of network data security controls, policies and procedures, and any instructional documents. Assists in design, implementation and maintenance of SAN storage switches. Oversees and acts as lead for technology projects from start to finish, including directing support staff in specific job functions during project and ensuring assignments are completed per specifications. Understands and adheres to and enforces regulatory compliance rules as well any company and/or IT security policies and procedures. Directs and works withfellow engineers to provide needs analysis and network design for interdepartmental networks, ensuring compatibility of all network hardware and software. Manages and assists with recommendation of the acquisition of equipment and software. Oversees the job functions of junior level staff on the implementation projects, ensuring hardware installation, including assembly and physical installation, are performed correctly and to specifications. Tests all associated components of the network, operating system and applications prior to release for installation and insures proper integration into MGH Infrastructure.  Designs, implements and maintains file, print, web, and application servers. Develops standards and procedures to conduct daily operations and to implement project based work. Maintains and produces MGH network diagrams including wireless HEAT maps and oversee  lower-level staff in documentation process Maintains a current hardware inventory of network equipment. Identifies trends in reported problems and proactively anticipates problems and provide solutions. When required, provides telephone support for external and internal clients with software and hardware questions.   Manages organization in network cabling in the datacenter, lab and general work areas.  Manages lower-level staff in cabling of these areas. Troubleshoots physician practice office issues as required. Deploys and maintains remote office networks utilizing WAN/VPN connectivity. Deploys and maintains IP Telephony (Cisco, ShoreTel, Mitel, etc,). Perform on-call shifts as scheduled. Accepts and performs other duties as assigned. 7 years+ hands-on experience with CISCO routers, security appliances, firewalls, switches, VPN concentrators, load balancers (26xx, 3xxx, 4xxx, 6xxx, 110xx, 18xx, 17xx, Nexus, ASA, WSA, PIX). Working knowledge of load balancers appliances (NetScaler, F5, etc.). Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.0 web servers/farms. Experience with designing, building and maintaining a remote disaster recovery site. Hands-on experience ESX VSphere clustered HA DRS environments networking principles including distributed virtual switches. In depth knowledge of iSCSI and FCIP best practices and configuration. Hands-on experience with Cisco MDS or comparable series fiber channelswitches or comparable enterprise class storage switches. Thorough knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP and OSPF. Hands-on experience with blade enclosure networking modules (IBM, Dell, HP, Cisco). Thorough knowledge of transmission media and structured wiring systems. Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, IPSEC, SNMP, SMTP etc.). Thorough knowledge of multi-site DNS. Understanding of Windows 2003/2008/2012 Active Directory and security practices. Thorough understanding of networksecurity: firewalls, VPN, DMZ, and encryption best practices. 9071-EB127

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
